The Lady and the Unicorn

 I just wanted to record a moment in my life that I often choose to fondly reminisce upon. When I was about 16 or 17 I went on this school trip to some muddy shit hole in wales. We were trekking up this mountain like hill while it was pissing it down. My legs were tired and I was soaked. I felt miserable until I saw this poor wet horse, all alone in this large field surrounded by a small fence. He looked so pitifully sad and lonely. Everyone kept walking but I stopped and pulled some fresh uncut grass from the ground so I could feed it to him, remembering to keep my palms flat. While I did so our guide made some weird and perverse remarks but I just ignored him. I’ll always remember that wonderful moment of bonding I had with that beautiful and majestic creature.I've always been inspired by the tapestries and the stories behind them but for some reason I was prompted to paint my own tribute to the story because of this incident. The quality of it didn't turn out as great as I hoped it would but still...
